Hello
I’m having an issue fault finding on PCB 34. I do not have 5V standby light on my MK3 beosound 9000.
When checking mains relay is not being activated either. I have begun checking PCB 34 for fault and have found no issues apart from IC7. IC7 input voltages on this component these all look good when comparing to a known good MK2 PCB 34 but I am not getting strobe input power IC7 and am thinking this is the issue.
When plugging a known good MK2 PCB 34 in with the relay attached I get the relay turning on and off. On My bad MK3 PCB 34 I do not get this relay clicking. Relay on signal appears to come from IC7
When checking circuit diagram strobe signal should come from microprocessor, but these are not shown on the wiring diagram. When checking online for the processor chips these seem to be programmed EPROM chips? that require software loading onto them to allow for replacement.
Please can someone help and point me in the right direction. I have checked voltages and for shorts on all areas of the PCB34 power supply board and everything looks good but I may be missing something here??. i have a good MK2 PCB 34 to cross check against. Any help appreciated.
I guess I just need a new board at this point.
Thanks,
Mike
Hi. If this were my unit I would just replace the whole board. Though it will cost more, its just plain simper and easier to do.

Hi Mike,
Did you made any progress? I also have a faulty unit with the same symptoms.
Kind regards Kenny
