I need to extend one of my PL mk3 cables by 500mm. Rather than order a brand new cable and as Sounds Heavenly is having some RnR, I’m happy to build my own. Does anyone have a rec for a suitable cable ?

Hi Jon,

Sounds Heavenly is only closed for 2 days - I will be posting cables out as normal on Monday morning!  This way, you can get the correct tested cable for your speakers without worrying about getting the wiring wrong...

Thanks Steve - you don’t happen to do right angled 8 pin DINs do you ? My 4500 system is wall mounted and I like everything to be tucked away nice and neat !

Hi,

Sorry I haven't been able to find any angled DIN plugs of a good enough quality to use - I haven't been happy with any of the versions I have tested to date.

Ordered a 3m mk3 Powerlink cable and airport express to DIN from Steve. They arrived next day.

Was so impressed I ordered another 3m mk3 as I don’t like things miss-matched and the quality and price were both spot on.
