Hi there

I have an issue with my BeoVision Avant 55 (1st gen) and Apple TV (4th gen).

Occasionally, when I start a movie/show on a TV apps on Apple TV (like Netflix, or Amazon Prime Video) will not play back correctly the audio. Specifically, the surround audio will be missing the front channels (I still hear the back channels, just in most cases the voices of the actors are not audible).

In order to get back the sound, I need to turn off and then on the Avant, and then it will play audio correctly.

Did anyone encounter this issue?

Giovanni

Hi there, I think you just need to perform a normal restart of the system.

Hope that will solve your problem.

first thought when I read it: HDMI cable (connection).

Hi, this happened once for me. I solved it by changing the audio settings in the Apple TV. Can’t remember exactly, but it was something like changing from 5.1 to stereo.
