I purchased a couple of BL Receiver 1, but with no power adapter. I know they have a 6v 500ma output specification, but I'm still not 100% sure which way is the +/- signal. The person that sold it to me send me a picture that shows that its using the center 4 pins of a 6 pin RJ11 (pins 2 and 5), but even after asking it is still not clear to me which one was the + and the -. Can someone please let me know? I can make the adapters, but clearly I don't want to have the wrong polarity and damage the BLR 1.
Thanks
Hi
dont now about the pins but
you can buy the right adapter from a b&o store..
At a pure guess, this is probably the same RJ11 PSU that they used on some of the Beocom phones and the ML/NL delay box.
I have asked a few UK B&O dealers (including Manchester) about this and they say the part can no longer be purchased.
I purchased one on Ebay recently, I have yet to test it but it should work with my ML/NL box when it gets to it. He also had a few left for sale: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/133639497110
If you want me to stick a multimeter on the pins of mine I can try and help you with that. are you able to share this picture you were sent? I'm intrigued to know what's on it...
Thanks,

Thanks for the reply. I had the same thought, and I checked the power adapter for my BeoLine (US version, which I use with the BeoCom 1), but its using pins 1 and 6, so it's clearly not wired the same way as the Receiver 1 power adapter, which uses pins 2 and 5. I don't have an ML/NL box to try it out either.
Here's an image I uploaded of what I have
The only thing the picture is not explaining is whether this is a view looking at the pins, or from the other side of the pins, i.e. where the clip is. I think it is from the pins side, but just wanted to make 100% sure before I make the adapter.
It can all be purchased partnr 8040173 psu
8040162 eu
8040163 uk
8040164 us
you need 8040173 and one of the other depending there you live
It can only be explained with lacy store staff if they say it discotinued
and its the same adapter for use with ml-delaybox
