I have a Beolit 800 portable radio that is working, but there is white noise/static when powered on - regardless of volume, source setting, or tone settings. I have had help in troubleshooting the components and we have isolated the issue to the end stage amplifier (excuse my poor english). I have attached the diagram where I have tried to isolate what part of the amplifier the noise is isolated to and our voltage measurements that are off compared to what is specified.
We are now stuck, unsure why the voltage is too high (2 volts compared to specified 1 volt). There is a diode marked "1.4" but it does not say what unit. Any suggestions how to proceed from here?
