Hello All,
I recently purchased and installed a BLGW on my network. I have also installed the BLGW App on my iPad. The App does find the gateway on my network but is asking for a “User Name & Password.” I assume the App is referring to the User Name and Password from the previous user which is unknown to me? Do I need to reset the User Name & Password? If so, How do I reset it? Does anyone know?
Thanks!
Ed
Did you try:
Admin — Admin
MM
There is a tv - and there is a BV
And use admin / admin
Tried useing Admin—Admin but doesn’t work. Where do I get instructions on how to do a factory reset?

FYI, the BLGW and NL/ML Converter are the same hardware. Sometimes they have been loaded with software to be converted to the other.
You might check to make sure this isn't actually an NL/ML Converter by enter in your web browser the address: blc-********.local
Entering the serial number instead of ********
Hi Beojeff,
admin—admin (in all lower case letters) does work! Looks like the gateway is really a complicated device to program. I have downloaded the BLGW installation guide and looks like successfully downloaded the update. I am willing to tackle the task of programming and looking forward to what looks like a definite CHALLENGE! I consider this as having enrolled in “BLGW class” for the fall semester. Hopefully will have it up and running by semesters end in December 2021 and get an “A+” out of the class. Do you have any hands on experience? Any “pearls of wisdom?” Thanks again for all of your help!!

That's great news. You'll find the learning curve of the BLGW is really short. Also, you'll find building the macros to be really FUN. Once you make a simple macro and see that it works, you'll get instant satisfaction and confidence. The Philips Hue lighting system is a great system to add to the BLGW.
Do you have a BeoRemote One? If so, I'd like to suggest starting with a couple of the commands that are already on the remote.
The LIGHT command "Morning" is achieved by programming a macro using "LIGHT FUNCTION 1" as the trigger. You could so something as simple as using this macro to turn on a music source. Later, you can get more elaborate by adding turning on Philips Hue lights at a specified level and/or color.
Another good macro to start with would be using the BeoRemote One LIGHT command "LEAVING" -- which is achieved by using "LIGHT FUNCTION 2" as the trigger. You could do something as simple as making a macro to use "LEAVING" to trigger ALL STANDBY. Later, you could add to it a command to turn off your lights with this macro.
