Hello,

Would someone have the pin outs from the DIN cable end Beosound 9000 end to the 2x RCA pairs. One for AUX in and one for Line out.

My cable is inaccessible and plastered into a very large wall.

I need the pin outs to test if the cable is working correctly. Perhaps in order to get it repaired.

Thanks Beoaus.

I often use PeterPan's pages for pin diagrams - the 3-d drawings prevent confusion about whether you are referring to the solder or pin side of the connection.

Scroll down this page until you find what you need: http://www.hifi4all.dk/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=32157&PN=1

Thanks,

I had a look. Wonder if the Datalink aux cable is it, near the end of the graphics, less the datalink pins ?

How would I tell?

Perhaps by comparing it to the graphic here on the site? https://www.beoworld.org/beotech/misc2.htm  (Scroll down to the one labeled "Audio Aux Link".)  It looks the same as the "Datalink Cable 7/7 pin AV" shown here on the site in: https://www.beoworld.org/beotech/misc1.htm , except Audio Aux uses a shared ground for the data.  Yes, not connecting that data pin is a good idea unless you need it.  No point carrying data in parallel with a line-level audio run for long distances, even if it isn't always transmitting and making square-wave hash noise.

Yes that's it.  Just ignore pins 6 and 7.
