The Beogram 2400 page here on the Beoworld Product List shows a model with the controls on the slanted front panel. All the ones I've seen here in the USA have the controls under the lid, on the front left hand side of the deck, similar to the 1600 series. Was the 2400 shown on this site's Product List a non-USA model? Or?? Thanks!
There are different Type numbers to the same model numbers in the B&O line. I sold the 2400 in the US and we never had the slanted front until the 3400 series. For example we had the 2400 Type 5716 which is what you describe where the Type 5722 had the slant front.
