Well… Actually, if its fabric cover meant to replace a too much scratched 90's style aluminium surface and given the price asked for an outdated BL11 (compared to more recent bass units) and given that curent use is anyway more "hide than show", I would not call it a massacre. Actually I could have done the very same thing, just for the sake of having and using it…

It is white underneath. And not badly scratched either.
