Hello,

We moved a few months ago from UK to US.  I brought my beolab 6000 speakers and beosound 3000 player with me.   Who can covert the system to work in US and how much would it normally cost?

Thanks.

Hi Hamidis,

Depending on where you are in California, contact your closest B&O dealer.  I would expect the conversion of all 3 pieces to run you in the $500-600USD range.

Why not just use step down transformers?  Forgive me if it is step up transformers, can never remember the correct terminology.......

Yes, get a step up transformer. I brought one for a bunch of UK gear I ended up with in the States. It works, but it's a brick and a half.

I hope it works out for you.

BTW - Welcome to America!

Thank you.  I think I will go this route or ask an electrician to put up a 220 outlet.

Best and cheapest solution, made that down here in Mexico, if I cant change the power in, I use the 220 outlets.

Well, I'm sorry that they refused.  We just had a system like yours done for a couple moving here from Belgium, no trouble.  I'd be happy to arrange the service work for you, if you like.
