It is going really well for B&O, in all areas.

Beoplay A9 is still a bestseller with a 3-digit growth compared to last year.

Still delivery issues in the Stage category but a big growth in speaker sales anyway.

Beoplay H95 and Portal are also doing very well, and also Beosound Level.

It is a pleasure to read enjoy.

It is engineers and software development, but lets hope that the extra effort in these areas will soften the burden of customer service :)

Not any of the three categories, but the revenue in TV is only up 1% but that is because B&O are not selling the TV part anymore, all dealers buy the LG panel elsewhere. This reduce revenue but most likely dont effect profit a lot.

Nice for B&O BUT....in Holland more and more shops are closing and service is non existing anymore.

Old B&O stuff is very difficult to service.

Parts are coming very difficult to come by.

It looks like all service has gone overboard to meet the share holders demand for profit.

I give it 2 tot 5 years before this iconic company fails due to the lack of service and support i.m.h.o.

I see, thanks Emil! I’m happy it is going in the right direction for B&O. I guess that when it comes to how well certain products sell, it is somewhat impacted by how recently each product was launched. The HX has been around in a similar package with the H9 series, and I assume Mozart products also have the edge over older products. It is pretty cool though that the A9 is such a success. Sounds like it is more successful than the Balance as a speaker at a similar price/performance point. It is of course an iconic design :).

Holland is a very small country - I am sure, that you will be able to find a dealer not far from you (just think of the us-beoworlders....that's is another story)

As for service, of course I can't tell - other Beoworlders from Holland could help I am sure.

However don't expect a broad service for old, old products - and don't expect parts for every case......that is how modern technology works.

As for 'to meet the share holders demand for profit.' - you are definitely wrong!

There has been no profit for decades and nonetheless the bigger shareholders have been holding on to their shares.

You definitely don't buy B&O shares 'just for profit'.

There have been many prediction for many years that the end of B&O will be close - they have all been proven wrong.

For time being the company is doing well.

Speaking for the french area, my dealer (2 shops) closed a few years ago and now another one as oppened and a second is coming (Marseille - Aix en Provence).

My twenty years old BS9000 died last month and got serviced (in Lyon I recall) trough my local dealer (for 990 € !). It was motherboard and a few other things but even CD mechanism is now repairable.

So hope is here for older products (my parents BV11-46 is also in repair with a bill of 2.500 € ! - my old mom said she refuces to buy an ugly Tv ie Contour or LG + Stage on stand for 7.000 € or 5.000 € and whants her iconic design left).

Hesitated to let go the BS9000 + Lab 8000 for a Beosound 2 or Balance but till it's repairable I keap it (repair was ok but I had to do the service modes 71 + 73 myself, CD was ripping a little bit - and still is in CD 5 but it's minimal).

Yes I think it is the first time in the last 5 years that we dont really know what is up next.

In the report they write that the TV line is completed with the Contour 55" so I dont expect a new TV soon.

There should come a classic product sonn maybe? And I guess we will see more Gaming headsets.

That's not true... The Haarlem/Alkmaar dealership just announced they'll open two new shops. The Groningen store relocated to a much larger space. The Amsterdam shop has new ownership (a BIG improvement!, very service minded!).

Rumor I heard is that there will be an adapter to accommodate Playstation functionality.

So the headphone as such remain the same.

I would not mind that, I bougt the Portal for PC but if I can use it wireless with PS5 it would be really great.

It is a new colour for every current product that you never thought you needed until now.

In theory, a Stage NG or a Stage Plus was supposed to happen. My dealer talked about it at the start of this year. He said B&O was working on a more expensive Stage, taking cues from the Eclipse speaker, where you could connect other B&O speakers, which many of us want.

Never heard anything more this upgraded Stage since then. He did warn that B&O was struggling to keep up with existing Stage demand, so maybe they put this on hold.

I think we are going to see delays in releasing new products in all things right now. Just see Tesla with Model X, Cypertruck, Roadster and Semi. They should all be availeble but is not. And the reason is that they cannot produce enough Model 3 and Y to keep up with demand. So cars and electronics will see a lot and big delays.

But a more capable Stage would be a good seller imo.

They mentioned in one slide (only) 4+ new products for the year.

Given how busy they have been with new products over the last 12-18 months, a slowdown is not surprising of course.

Especially with all the supply chan issues globally.

For my part, I've put any aspirations for this or that new product on hold.

Hopefully they can focus on improving the existing product line and platforms while the chip shortage slows down new product development.
