hi guys , I’m hoping someone can help with an issue I just experienced with my Beomaster 5. I hadn’t used it for a while and plugged it in. After about 30 seconds it started making a terrible noise and I quickly turned it off at the power point. It started smoking and smelling really bad . I opened it up and found something on the mother board had failed . I think it may have been a fuse but not sure. I’m not really sure watt to do but thought someone might be able to help me.

My first thought is a failed capacitor.  I recommend reposting your request on The Workbench forum, including a couple of photos of the failed component.

Okay thank you.

Its a small light brown rectangular glass box which exploded. Where would I find the The Workbench forum?
