I noticed that the specs for the Beomaster 5500 on beoworld say  2x60watt 8 ohm

http://www.beoworld.org/prod_details.asp?pid=354

and then at the bottom of that page in the specs table it correctly says

Power output 20 - 20,000 Hz IHF 2 x 50 W / 8 ohms

( as confirmed by Beophile )

http://beophile.com/?page_id=1024

I don't know if the Product pages inaccuracies get edited or updated anymore, but I thought I would mention it.

while I'm at it, the intro dialogue for the Beomaster 5000 says 2 x 55w

but in the specs table it says  2 x 50w  8 ohms

http://www.beoworld.org/prod_details.asp?pid=353

and according to Beophile it is  2 x 50w  8 ohms for the 5000

http://beophile.com/?page_id=1022

I just want to add, that according to the product pages are several discontinued products still being produced (BeoSound 9000, BeoLab 8000, BeoLab 6000 etc.)
