B&O will not sell The Farm

It will instead move back in to The Farm… which was completely empty since 2018

I looked into buying this but as charming as Struer is, it’s a little too quiet for my tastes. Had I moved there, I would have only tried to fill it with B&O hifi and any spare time I had, would be spent hiding behind the grazing sheep, with a pair of binoculars, spying on B&O to see what their new products might be.

"We have chosen to put the sale of the Farm on pause. We are looking at plans for how we can use it ourselves.."

Translates as "We have had no real interest for the quite frankly beautiful but extremely expensive purpose-built building we shouldn't really have built in the middle of Northern Jutland, so in hindsight perhaps we should repurpose it.."

I love the Farm. It's everything B&O stands for - and my times there I will never forget. I'd be so glad if it remained as "HQ"...

I'd say this building makes perfect sense in it's location from an architectural point of view. If B&O had build there HQ in, let's say Copenhagen, KHR would have come up with something different. Business sense is an other matter all together.

And yes the price is a steal if you have a company in that area.

And what do you know, B&O are in that Area

 

But yes it was a hard sell, even at a good price. I saw they tried to rent it out which clearly did not work either.

When i go back to Denmark, i will go to Struer and also visit family there.
