I am trying to set the above up, with the BV7 as the master and the BC 2 as the slave. I have prog'd the Beo 4 to audio option the system plays DVD's but i cannot get sound when on Radio, the earphone socket obviously works. The BL6000's are plugged into the 2 x powerlink sockets and the scart lead for dvd intoav3, av4 has a pc connected

What should I be doing , programming etc, I had the same setup years ago, but have lost my idiots guide prepared years ago!

Help please

This is how I have set up my BC2 with my BV-26:

- BeoLabs connected to Beovision.

- BC2 connected via SCART, SPDIF and ML to Beovision.

- Beovision set to Video option 2

- BC2 set to Audio option 0 (it should default to this as there are no BeoLabs connected to it).

When you press RADIO on your Beo4, it should turn on the BV in audio mode, turn on the BC2 and play the sound through the BeoLabs connected to the Beovision.

Thanks for your response, cannot use SPDIF as the TV doesn't have that facility! Also the 2 options had been programmed into the Beo 4

Ok, it's my programming of the sound adjustment of the bv sound group, changing the default setting for audio worked.

Dooohhhhh technology!!!  ;-))

It's me again, now had time to set everything up, just one problem to sort, when playing the radio function, it starts at a high volume setting, looking at the manual for the BC2 it refers to setting this up to the appropriate level via the BV7, looked at that manual, cannot find the relevant section, tried setting the sound level when the tv is working and the the same with the radio, the system always reverts to the individual default settings, how do I automatically achieve the same volume output on each function? Hope that makes sense!

If you really have set (and saved) the settings for the volume level in the tv, you should be good to go.

However, there might be - at times - very different volume levels coming in from different sources.

Keep your remote at hand when changing sources Big Smile

There is a tv - and there is a BV
