Product icons replaced by pictures.

Think it looks quite nice and adds a bit of consistency across the app, even though quite small on my iPhone 12Pro.

Do you see any ALARM or TIMER functions for Mozart products?

Currently: BeoLab 17, BeoLab 18, BeoSound Core, Beosound Level, Beosound A1 2nd Gen, BeoPlay S8 Connection Hub, Halo, Essence Remote

Previously: BeoSound 1 non-GVA

Well, I had understood that a bit different.

I thought that you now could replace with 'your own pictures' - e.g. of the room with the product - and could not find an option to do so.

Your posting the pics explains what was meant - thanks!

Not sure whether I like that - the simplicity, purity of the icons is nice imo.

This looks bit bulky

If I however, could choose my own pictures - that would be different.....and you could differciate if you have multiples of a device.

So - MR Andersen - please give us the option of choosing between the new pictures and the old icons.

Nice! I'd love to see them have proper icons for the selected product within the BeoLink Converter, as well as implementing the up and down buttons for control.

Nice but still no way to disable/enable an alarm from the app without going through the product configuration page, amongst other unrealized fixes or long overdue requested corrections, a pity.

These B&O dev are funny …. When streaming AirPlay to a B&O product, they now display the product image instead of a black screen while the album cover is available to them …. why don’t they make use of it???? I do retrieve the image sent by AirPlay from the B&O products with my Home Assistant setup and I’m not a developer !

Not sure I would call that a bug but rather a serious neglect …. unless they have a story with Apple preventing them to do so.

That said, the answer I received from the support ages ago when I asked why the album cover was not displayed when streaming AirPlay was that is was technically not possible …. pure BS IMHO

If you stream AP to a B&O product and then go to its notification page (http://PRODUCT_IP:8080/BeoNotify/Notifications) you’ll see the URL to the B&O product that contains the cover, e.g.

{"url":"http://PRODUCT_IP:80/api/stream//tmp/temp_data_airPlayAlbum_87101b87cb47293c95d54f431b2405e8","size":"large","mediatype":"image/jpg"}],"artist":"Elvin Jones","artistImage":[],"album":"Genesis","albumImage":[],"genre":"","playQueueItemId":"airplay"}}}

It’s a shame that the App does not read it.
