Hi,

I'm planning to integrate a wall mounted A9 into my setup. I want to use line in sources and therfore it is neccesary that the A9 awakes from stand by when a input signal is present.

Could one of the A9 owners please confirm this behaviour?

Thank you in advance

Hi all,

I was at my dealer today and did a short test.

As supposed, the A9 needs a a.aux signal to awake from standby and play the line-in signal.

Hi hfat,

what does this mean?  say if you have an A9 and have something plugged in the RCA ports will it wake when there is a signal?  Is that what you mean?

Cheers

Michael.

Hello Michael,

Sorry for being unclear:

If you put the A9 into stand by with your Beo4 it does not awake from stand by, when a signal arrives on line in. You have to send an a.aux via Beo4 to awake it.

If the A9 has an active WLAN connection and you plug in a source on line in, it starts playing whithout a.aux command.
