Hallo forum

I have just updated my B&O from a Beovision 11-40 to a Beovision 11-55 - what a huge television. I have thought it was just a bigger version of my BV11-40 but the LCD is quite different: The picture is dark at the middle and bright in the left and right side, especially in the right side. I think it must be normal for the type of LCD 10 years ago, LCD got limits especially when it gets bigger. I have turned the backlight on 64, to get the middle of the picture quite good.

The bv 11-40 also got its limits - in all the four corners it also is more bright.

What is your experiences with the picture quality at Beovision 11-55?

Maybe I will buy the 14-55 instead, but the software is sooo bad. But rather a better picture.

The panel / screen on the 14 is awful - its a globally dimmed LCD, and is great for sports but unwatchable for many movies, especially those with dark scenes.
