Does anybody know how to get the 6500 to automatically play phono when you just press the power on button, not the source button? Another option could be to just remember the source that was played last before being switched off and then come on next time powered on.
thanks
Q: how do you power on a BM6500 without using a source button?
What do you mean by ‘the power on button’?

There is a tv - and there is a BV
My 7000 is not in use at the moment so I can't check, but IIRC a press on mute/standby on the Beomaster starts the last used source. I'm quite sure that's the case when radio, tape or cd was the source used prior to standby. maybe it doesn't work with phono?
Henrik is right - pressing the button on the bottom right of the face plate powers up on the last source
I’m looking for way the beomaster can remeber or just a remote button switch. Thanks
I’m not sure I understand your question? Obviously pressing List -> Phono/N.Radio on a beo4 will start it up. On any of the B&O remotes there is no ‘power on’ - you select a source to start the system. With a Beoremote One (in IR mode) you could assign Phono/N.Radio to the music button, or one of the “my buttons”
….and if you have a fairly new Beo4, you can move the entries in the List - meaning with a moved Phono/Netradio (to the first place), you press List once and then Go.
Get a Beolink 1000 or a Master Control Panel 5500, it is the best to use with these old beosystems.
Phono button is directly on the keyboard, and will switch on the beomaster to the phono source.
