Sadly beosystem 3 no longer works, I'm awaiting the beosystem 4, which will be connected to bvis 4-65. I can connect speakers, and puc no problem, but I have a screen and projector, that did work with the beosystem 3, will the beosystem 4 just work? I would really appreciate feedback on this, thanks in advance

Hello kai,

although I am not using the control outputs of the beosystem 4 I strongly believe that they will work the exact same way as in Beosystem 3. Probably you will need some adapters to match the serial cables you now have to the rj45 control sockets of the Beosystm 4 but other than that I believe it will be fine.

A few years ago, I posted on here detailed instructions for how to make a cable between a BeoSystem 4 to a Lintronic code converter to control a project and screen. If you can find it.

I might have misunderstood. There are the connections for IR blasters for PUC control, but there are also the open collector connections for more advanced cinema control -- such as using relays for motorized projector screens and shades. I was referring to the latter. It was extremely difficult to get the pin schematics from B&O to create the proper cables for the open collector control. I'm using the open collector controls to trigger a Lintronic code converter to send out control for motorized screen and lights when entering CINEMA mode.
