Hi,

I have another question for you all. I have just meet with my architect for my extension we were talking about the cabelling to connect all my gear together. He has said he has a left over real of Cat7 F/FTP cabel (this would be great as we are at the limit of our budget with this build).

I know B&O recommend the S/FTP type cable but will the F/FTP work? Will there be any cross talk from the foiled ones?

What are other people using, I know there have been a few discussions over wireing in the past but could not find anything about what people are actually using.

Thanks

Toby

I would definitly go for S/FTP cables. Use the best possible cable you can get. It is pain in the a** if you find out that you are running into trouble after finishing your house and then get noise on your speakers that comes from bad shielded cables.

Regards

Martin

Thanks for the advice. Think I will go for the S/FTP. The price in Euros is a lot cheaper than in the UK so will have to look further afield.

Thanks

Hi,

Does anyone know a supplier of CAT7 in the EU that are a reasonable price?

All the ones I can find in the UK are asking over £500 for 500m.

Thanks

Toby
