BEO Moment screen fault

The screen is flashing and the Jukebox is unresponsive see the video in the link.

Moment video

I would love to know if anyone else has had the same fault and what was the outcome.

Yes, the exact same fault. Ended up having to have the tablet replaced by B and O, then had the same fault again within three weeks. Still awaiting resolution, sadly.

It was obvious from the outset that B&O internal components were cheap and nasty. The number of people who have had their Moments fail within a few short years is abysmal and undoubtedly burnt a lot of customers who will never buy another music box from B&O. You hear and see CD players and amps working after 30-40 years in hifi circles and then you have the Moment. Shameful.

Same as James, had to pay for tablet to be replaced last year. Although so far so good.

I know…B&O virus has grown on me !

I’ve just been told by b and o that the issue is not having an earthed power cable? Anyone else heard this? I’m using a standard figure of 8 cable, same as powered speakers and my other moment.

You would have thought B&O would have released this with the earthing issue resolved. The basics of an electronics class at high school. Is this more of a problem in some countries. In the UK the power socket has an earth, live and neutral.

So if you have your device repaired and replaced, it’s liable to fail again due to lack of earthing???

I do have one of these yes after now being on tablet number 2, and as said previously no hiccups after new tablet and earthing cable, although would have been nice to have been told that before tablet number one or even two replacement.
