Hello, I have a Beosound 4000 with two Beolab 6000 speakers. I wanted to add a subwoofer to my setup and was considering a Beolab 2. I believe my Beosound only has two output ports so I think I’d have to connect the speakers through the Beolab 2 and then connect the Beolab 2 to the Beosound. I was wondering if this is correct or whether there is a better way (that would retain Left/Right) speakers. Is there any additional adapter that would help? Thanks!

Welcome to Beoworld! Yes, you can add either a Beolab 2, or any other brand of active (powered) subwoofer if you prefer. For the best results with Beolab 2, please connect the subwoofer to the Beosound and then link the two Beolab 6000 speakers to the output sockets of the subwoofer so that the subwoofer can manage the bass across all three speakers.

The right/left setting is managed in the BL6000.
There is absolutely no problem in connecting the subwoofer to the BS4000 and then the 6000 to the BL2.
