For the wall version of the Halo, there are various ways to power it.
The requirement for me is simply the USB-C. But I need a proper power supply, e.g. an iPhone/iPad charger.
B&O does not provide a power supply, probably because the USB is standardized.
The Halo requires 5VDC/1.5A.
I am struggling to find a PSU that can deliver the exact current. The iPhone charger delivers only 1A, and the iPad charger delivers >2A.
If I connect the iPad charger I guess the Halo will only use the required 1.5A, thus there is no risk that the PSU will deliver more. But I really want to check with you, before I take any risks.
How have you managed to power your Halo (Wall)?

Don't hesitate connecting your Halo to an iPad charger, it will only draw the power it needs, no risk of any damage. More current is not a problem, for instance you can power your iPhone with a big Macbook USB-C charger (45W), the iPhone will get approx. the max 15W it needs.

B&O have a power supply usb-c you can both in the shops.
its a 20v power supply that you will Get together with beosound Level.
And the Halo will only take the need power. So if you us a iPad usb charger is no problem..

I have bought the wall version during the Black Friday promo, so I wonder why do you think PoE is a better solution than the USB-C? Thanks!

Thank you very much for your reply! I have connected my old iPad4 charger, and all works perfect.
I already knew to your examples for the Apple products, but I thought this was just a "bullet proof" solution from Apple.
However, while I posted the query I also spoke to a local B&O Dealer, and here I was told that they use the iPhone charger for their Halo Wall in the store with no problems (could be one of the newer chargers, which deliver more than 1,5A). To my understanding the Halo needs 1,5A to charge its battery (i.e., Table version). Perhaps the Wall version requires less current, but according to one of B&O's support articles for the Halo both versions requires 1,5A. So, I will continue using the iPad charger rather than my iPhone charger, which only can deliver 1A.

Unfortunately I don't have a PoE installation around. I guess the PoE adapter from B&O (type 3057) requires a real PoE behind. Then I'd also have to mount a PoE injector. Using e.g. the iPad charger in my installation is a simple solution which works fine for me.
