Just received a B&O email advertising the new B&O Clot. Is the B&O virus having unexpected side effects?

"You think we can slap some oak on this thing?"

I had clots in my brain and in my leg. Unfortunate choice of moniker.

Clot in the UK has quite a connotation!
In this case it is exactly what it says on the tin! It's very sad that the company has begun stooping this low!
Sh1t Casio watches and Mickey Mouse T-Shirts, Struer should hang their heads in shame!
Absolute Tat!
Ban boring signatures!
I'm from West Yorkshire, (England, United Kingdom) originally.
Whilst I lived there a 'clot' was the saying or description for someone who was stupid...

Strangely enough, I know a few teens and younger 20-somethings with an A1, so I guess B&O's thinking here is that it's a good 'entry level' speaker for kids, which is a reason why they've done this collaboration.
I've asked them what they think of their A1 and most are happy and even impressed, so I can see some logic. Get them on the brand bandwagon and they'll potentially move up products over time.

No problem with the A1, it is the associated brand that is tat.
Same here, for the record. I think the A1 is a lovely little speaker.
There have been quite a lot of weird marketing stunts lately. The guy who was marketing the Beoplay EQs, the Berluti logo slapped on the A1 and the Berluti purse, Conde Nast promo of that Barcelona-based graphic designer, the Ford + B&O + country singer confusion, and now this. Oh and don’t forget the picture of that «dropped» Beosound 2 on Instagram, or that they have called their own Beosound Explore the Beosound «Explorer» at least twice.
They are now sold out in Europe,
I dont know how many units, but it seems good to have sold out in 1,5 month.
