Hi everyone,

Anyone else having experience if B&O app can control B&O devices on multiple locations?

E.g. will the app detect (by wifi network) what devices to control on specific locations? I am thinking locations such as summerhouse, office etc.

I am asking as I will start to (continue) work@home soon from a different location than my own home and am planning for B&O speaker there.

Hi Ferdinand,

I have B&O devices at both my home and my fiancé’s home. They are all registered to my account, so at his home I can control the devices there with the B&O app on my iPhone.

To my knowledge, there is no situational awareness, i.e. as long as I’m on a wifi network the app will look for my devices there. The app doesn’t care what network name it is (my iPhone knows the SSIDs and passwords at both locations).

I have an M5 and a Halo at work and they grey out as unavailable when I'm at home but when I'm on my work wifi the M5 and Halo are available and my home devices get greyed out.

I wish that the app would give us the option of setting up multiple locations so that we could just see the devices that are at each location.

Hi everyone,

App is working as described by others, giving acces/control to devise(s) on my other location than home.

A side question though, I bought a 2nd hand M3 and everything is working flawlessly except for the name that is defaulted to ‘Beosound 9000’

I can’t seem to change this. Any tips/tricks? I have tried hard-resets.

It won’t let you change the name when you go in to the menu that allows you to make the name whatever you want?

Correct Razlaw,

Even after resetting it comes up as Beosound 9000 and the app tells me I an only change with apple home app Unsure

So either it is a bug/glitch or I need the previous owner to change the for me in his/her apple home app?

Huh? mysterious
