I'm trying to bring my old S45 (6302) speakers back to life by replacing the capacitors and resistors. They have been stored away in a humid basement for several years. One of the six resistors in each crossover is burned so bad that I can't read anything of it. I found the diagram here on this site. The values are:
R1=4R7
R2=2R2
R3=3R3
R4=8R2
R5=1 (this is the burned one)
R6=8R2
So my question is about the fith resistor. What does 1 mean? Is it 1 Ohm? - if so, why doesn't it say 1R0?
R5 = 1 Ohm, it is correct.
It does not say 1R0 because the decimal part is not needed.
Where did you find this diagram for the S45?
I found the diagram here on this site.
