Hi Everybody

I have an old Beovision 7 that is outdated and in my region unsellable.

So I am thinking..... Why not take the surround sound module and convert it to at module for my new tv (non B&O) and I will be able to continue using my speakers?

I took the TV apart and found the DSM module (#B6143052).

16 Pin connector, named P12 (Found this info in the service manual):

16: Out TV Right

15: Out TV Left

14: GND

13: In Right

12: In Left

11 to 7: GND

6: 14V in

5: 14V in

4: Sound mute

3: PL_Data

2: SDA

1: SCL

An additional connector on the board for SPDIF called P411 (On the board it is labelled P410)

Does anybody have information about the protocol to use to communicate with the board via SDA and SCL?

Maybe somebody already made this project and I would be very fund to hear about it.

Likevise, ideas and comments are very welcome.

Best hopes

Henrik M.
