Hi! I am verry tepted to get a BeoCenter 9500 to complemento my Beovox 5000, but is there any way to connect a subwoofer to this setup?

the Beovox is right now connected to a cheap-ish A/V receiver (Yamaha RX-V640RDS 85w/ch) and since I thought I missed a bit in the bottom end I just got a small 150w subwoofer to complement the setup. Its a small upgrade and I'm not really sure I'm that happy with it.

What do you guys think, will I be more pleased with the BeoCenter with/without a subwoofer?

My third alternative is to get a Sonos Amp (125w/ch) and drive them with that together with the sub, but not sure I will be a 100% happy with that either.

Any inputs are greatly appreciated!

The Beocenter 9500 has a built in amplifier and you can connect the Beovox 5000 speakers with a subwoofer (like the Cona). You can also add a active subwoofer connected to the powerlink connection.

But i have had a Beocenter 9500 with the Beovox 5000 combo and its sounded great. Really no lack off bass, so i think you would be happy with that combo. The Beocenter has a good amplifier, maybe that makes a big difference compared to the setup you have now.
