Hey all,

Hoping for a bit of advice…

Over the last few years I’ve been slowly adding B&O products as my disposable income has allowed. So far this has been an A9, Beolab 4’s, Essence Mk2, two Essence remotes and recently a Halo remote.

Its about time to upgrade the TVs so I obviously want to go down the B&O route.

I’m keen on having the option of being able to upgrade the OLED panel but the Harmony is out of my price range so I guess that leaves the Contour or Stage.

I priced up a Stage with a 2021 C55 and and STB floor stand (not keen on the black Stage floor stand) at £3400. The Contour at 55 with floor stand and oak cover is £7100.

I like the idea of being able to add a pair of Beolabs to the Contour in the future but is it worth paying double the price of the Stage setup?

Alternatively I could wait for the rumoured upgraded Stage so I could add other speakers…

Which route would you advice?

Beoplay A9 MkII, BeoLab 4000, BeoSound Essence MkII

You cannot add Beolab speakers to a Contour, only to the Eclipse and Harmony. The Contour is literally the LG and Stage build in a nice looking B&O package.

For the TV, if you have the room for a 65 inch I would definitely go for it. Upgrade from 55 to 65 makes a huge difference. You can also expect the prices of LG screens to go down in the coming months in preparation of the 2022 models.

Stage is great, but it might be worth waiting for the MK2, although nobody knows when exactly it will be released.
