Hi,
Fairly new here at beoworld - after having swapped the drive belts in the deck - 3 pieces - the counter has become erratic - that is - counting and resetting - counting and resetting - also the tape side lamp Is flickering from time to time - then - it becomes stable - but only for a while. Any ideas - I have been very cautious when doing the swap - trying not to disturbe anything. The magnetic sensor should be correct mounted. Have checked the cables and connections - did expect some point of failure here but so far nothing obvious. When erratic I cant stop the player. Any help highly appriciated.
Solved - eventually the sound too became very distored - replaced the PCB for the cassette deck - retrived from a scrapped device - everything fine now
