Hi Guys

Happy new year to you all?

Just wanted to get some information from you?

I have a beocenter 9500 and I'm thinking of adding a decent turntable to the set up? (got rid of all my vinyl in the 80's, so have to start from scratch).

i have been offered a beogram 3000 59** model for a good price, would this work with the BC9500 ok? or should i keep looking for a beogram 9500 which seem very expensive to start afresh again??

Many thanks

Luke

Yes the BG3000 should work fine, because it does not have in-built RIAA.  The BC9500 itself has RIAA built in.

Check that the DIN connection plug for the BG3000 has all 7 pins present, as this will give remote control of the Beogram using datalink from the BC9500.

Hi Guy

Thanks for your response, i have just collected the BG3000, it has a connection on the din plug converting it to jack plugs, but when i remove this adaptor there is only 5 pins on the din plug, would i need to replace the din plug or can you just add the pins???

Many thanks

Luke

If it’s the original plug you should be able to simply replace the pins.

if you need to get hold of some you can buy them here:  https://www.beoparts-shop.com/product/datalink-pin-for-remote-control-communications-din-cable/
