Hi,

i tried to do some maintenance at my Beosound 9000. After the following this very good guide on how to replace the laser I have now ended up in with some problems.

When I reenter the testmode and try to release the slage (TM74) the display shows "Safeguard TM". What am I doing wrong?

Cheers,

Hmmm, I redid all assembly and got rid of the safeguard issues but encountered new issues.

- I seems like all the mechanical aspects of the cd work. The CD starts spinning but eventually it stops down and pushes CD error 7 (undefined error?).

- I have also tried TM61-66 and they all seem to work.

I bought a laser from Alibaba. Could it be the problem? Where can I get an appropriate laser that works?
