Hi

Got this old nice AV 9000. There are few problems with it. First a stuck tape inside player. It just would not eject. Any easy way to get it out? Or if I have to open the player do I have to lift TV away then?

Second.....stand is not working. Motor is running and some loud squeaking but not turning. Some belt or?:)

Suggestions?:)

Yes, it`s a VX7000 - you will find manuals for the Beosystem AV9000 on the product/ manuals site on Beoworld.

https://www.beoworld.org/manuals_view.asp?pid=865

hope this helps

There was a good repair thread on the archived forum, but sadly the photos have disappeared (perhaps they can be recovered or found elsewhere): https://archivedarchivedforum2.beoworld.org/forums/t/24191.aspx

Also, I often watch this chap's YouTube videos for repair tips.  He works without manuals and it's interesting to see his approach - he has fixed a few B&O items, but sometimes it's a bit hit and miss.  Here's his VX7000 video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-SxzTsXzpq0

Yep, found that same. Actually got some hints concerning about right positions of few parts in loading mechanism.

Still have that problem with loading. There is some kind of a bar under those rollers and wheels underside of player.

That bar don't move enough and prevents movement of a small hook. That hook allow two wheels to connect and loading don't work.

It's a question about 2 mm. If I give some pressure to right direction to the bar everything works just fine.

I can't find any faults from plastic linkages nor wheels.
