Because HDMI 2.1 have only something with picture. 4K in 120hz or 8k in 60hz. You can Connect the hdmi cable directly to the lg screen that support 2.1 on the newest tv. So why need to stress to upgrade sound center to 2.1. When its not give you anything.. :)
