I’m new on this forum.
I read the Beogram 5005 has no RIAA pre-amplifier. Connecting that phono to the DIN-Phono on my 5500 I have sound but only at a lower level.
I suppose there is a separate input on the 5500 for a phono without pre-amplifier.
I see two RCA connectors with reference Pre-Amp on the horizontal plate just behind the output for the loudspeakers. Are they intended for a phono without RIAA ?
I bought a special cable ( “intended for B&O” ) for that but with that connection I got no sound at all.
I see two possibilities :
- either the pre-amp connection of my 5500 has a problem
- either the cable I bought “special for B&O” is wrong wired
Can somebody give me more information about my problem ?
Thanks on beforehand.
