Hi all, I'm the proud new owner of a Beogram 4002 (type: 5514).
The turntable works perfectly except for an issue with the stop button. On pressing this the arm raises and returns to its original position but the platter doesn't stop rotating. The same goes for when the record ends: the arm returns but the platter keeps rotating. The only way I can get the platter to stop rotating is switching to 'off' on the back of the unit.
Does this suggest a fault with the stop button? Or is this how some 4002 were designed?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Hi
Maybe the Stop switch "SO" is not engaged anymore or has some contact problems.
I recommend this video from "Beolover" to watch first and clean the contact leaves:

Hope that helps and brings a kind of light into the fuction of the Beogram.
Kind regards
Christian
