Hello
I have changed the fret on beolab 8000 with success (thanks to an old thread). I would like to do the same with a pair of bl9.
Anyone has tried it ?
Thanks for any advice or tip.

Hi
I presume you mean changing the cloth, I have done it. It wasn't very easy but it came out very well. One very important to thing to remember is that you will have to glue the middle of the cloth where the black band goes, plus you will have to cut holes for the clips. I used the old cloth as a template. If you pull the cloth too tight on the sides then its impossible to keep the black band in place, it keeps popping off.
Thanks for your reply. You gave me precise informations. If you remember where have you order the clothes in white or black I don't care and did you use an extra glue ?
Thanks again for your help.
HI
I went to a fabric shop, I took the old cloth with me so that I could match the thickness and density.
The fabric has to have a stretch to it for it to work. I used a glue gun to glue the fabric on.
Ideally its a 2 person job.
Thanks BenSA.
