Evereddie Thank you for the reply and the recommendation. This is the place I am sending it to for repairs.
Thank you for your reply. It is appreciated. I believe this Tech you recommend is the one I am going to send my 9500 to.
Motorman The one in Texas is Pyramid and I sent my 9500 to them for repairs unrelated to this new problem I have. The owner can be a real a.....hole when he wants to be.
He is backed up 5-6 weeks on repairs now.
The one in Tampa works mainly on 1900's and has never worked on a 9500 before.
Thank you anyway. I really appreciate that you replied.
Hello Thomas, you're welcome!I had similar experiences with a workshop here in Germany almost exactly one year ago when my Beocenter 9500 no longer wanted to play CDs.I then started to repair it myself with the help of the very nice support here in the forum. In the meantime it has become a kind of Corona hobby to restore old B&O HiFi equipment and Becker car radios. Also said blog has helped me a lot.I would like to offer you to repair your Beocenter but unfortunately I am really too far away here in Germany. For me, the Beocenter 9500 is THE B&O device at all. As a child I pressed my nose flat on shop windows in front of it and after I started my career in 1997 I could finally afford a used one and I still have it.Where is the problem with yours? Maybe I can guide you through a repair. Many things like a non-functioning CD drive or new belts for the cassette deck are not so difficult to repair with a little skill.
Kind regards,Wolfgang
