Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.
There's also a rare Hyperbo 5RG where Steve @soundsheavenly made a video about in the video on 1:07 and picture 13/16.
There's a closer look in the other video's.
In Steve's video was a replica...
Something different than a Beolab 90...
Beosound 5 Encore, Beolab 3, Beolab 11, Beosound Balance Non GVA, H9i
Great, now, I have to convince myself that this auction doesn't exist and I didn't see it.
Crazy passion
4 beolab 5, beolab 9, beolab 10, beolab 5000, beolab 8000 mk2, beolab 6002, beolab 3500, beovision 7 55 mk2, 2 beovision 11 46 mk4, beotime, beosound ouverture, beosound essence, beoplay A8, beomaster 900 RG de luxe and the collection continues...
Apparently it is an ex-director of Grundfos (pump manufacturers) who due to advancing Parkinsons is selling his museum and collection. There's a video clip from a TV program in Danish at: TV MidtVest The museum alone is valued at about DKK800,000.
They call it "worlds largest private B&O collection".
It's a wonderful collection indeed, but it's nowhere near the worlds largest.Perhaps within the top twenty of the ones I know of.
Impressive nonetheless.

Looking at the photos again, apart from one small item, it seems somebody already harvested everything pre-1935.And the Hyperbo 5RGS is a replica.
