Hi alls,

There is this question that is in mind for a whilet:

I think we all know that when you connect a media player to a powered speaker, you must usually turn the volume on the player to the max, and use volume control on the powered speaker to avoid amplification noise at low listening levels.

So I assume that a Beosystem may be similar to a media player where you would use the volume control and a Beolab similar to a powered speaker always set to max amplification, right?

Then how is that, the sound is always clean? I suppose the answer would be as simple as "good engineering". But then why doesn't it work when you plug a media player to Beolabs directly or into the aux port of a Beolit (basket) or Beoplay BT?

Thanks.
