Dear all

I have a BS 9000 that works perfectly fine, plus a Mac Mini feeding digital music into the system via BeoPort.

I acquired the Playmaker a) for curiosity and b) to enable my girls to stream iPhone-Music to the system without complication. Playmaker feeds into BS 9000 via A.AUX. It is just so much easier than uploading their music to the Mac Mini first (and actually I am quite glad some of their music remains on their devices and does not get to the central system Smile)

As my BeoLink Actives are quite old, they do not support selection of A.AUX from link rooms. Therefore I thought that purchasing a Converter NL/ML would allow me to add Playmaker as a master source to the masterlink - which then could be called from all rooms.

I did read in other threads that selecting Playmaker in that setup would require the CD button. However, I would like the CD button to activate the BS 9000' CD-Changer.

Any idea if and how this might work?

Thank you very much! Stefan

Can't you just press volume up in those active rooms and trigger a.aux?

Thank you Stan.

A.TAPE to do what? To access A.AUX sources from link rooms? Or to access BeoPlayer behind NL/ML gateway?

Cheers Stefan

Sorry, typing from my phone so I cannot be verbose. A.tape from the beo4 should enable the aux input from a link room. Stan

... and pay around EUR 1'000 ....

.... or simply use A.TAPE instead; it even has a button on Beo4

Didn't try that; once I knew that A.TAPE does the job I was happy with it.

I believe volume up will turns on whatever source was last used... or if you're pressing volume up on the Beo4, whatever it was last set to.

I'm using a PM through BS4.

To trigger A.AUX I simply turn on the BS4/PM and then volume up in the bl 3500 room and voila.
