Not sure whether the latest software update of Apple TV is the cause, but although everything else seems to work fine when operating the Apple TV (mark 2011) with the Beo4 works fine, I don't (no longer) seem to be able to use the "forward" or "backward" button while watching movies.

Upon the " >>" or "<<" of the Beo4, the screen becomes black and the only thing to get it back alive is to switch of the power of the Apple TV .

Switching off the BeoVision 10 (to which it's connected) alone doesn't help.

anyone knows how to fix it or rather how to "fast forward" in a movie using the Beo4 (with apple TV remote of course no probs at all). I have a Beo4 with Nav button.

thanks, Rene

Hello Rene,

first of all I would update the software of ATV released with the new ATV 3 two weeks ago.

Second I would test the arrow keys of the original Apple remote to make sure that the issue is caused by the PUC of BV 10.

ReneB:

I don't (no longer) seem to be able to use the "forward" or "backward" button while watching movies.

Upon the " >>" or "<<" of the Beo4

I used this function last night and had "no" problem.

My son had paused the movie which was playing via iPad PLEX to the ATV2 - he could not get it to rewind once I came back into the room (screen was black, and with repeated use of the button the rewind speed indicator was up to the "<<<" stage).

What I did was press (GO)  to play forward and then clicked [<<] to rewind and that worked.

I put the glitch down to stream being paused for too long ... but I was not fussed since the cure was simple.

I have the latest version of the ATV software - that is the version released last week.
