I have a Beolab 2 active subwoofer with a pair of 6000 speakers, looking to upgrade to 8000 speakers, does it make any difference if I go for Mark 1 or Mark 2?

The BL2 is very powerfull. You will not notice the difference between a MKI and MKII in combination with a BL2.

The MKI is second life cheaper, besides they are terrific speakers.

Having lifted both versions of the BeoLab8000/8002, I can tell you that 8002 are alot lighter Wink

I've had both Mk1 and Mk2 8000s and I could scarcely tell the difference. If anything I thought the older ones sounded a little better! Especially with the sub, you won't notice anything.
