Does anyone know that if I connect a set of Beolab 4500's as rear speakers to my Beovision 8-40 I will get display info? The BV 8-40 is also connected to my Beomaster 4500 through a ML/MCL convertor but all speakers are connected directly to the TV.

I do have an ouverture connected to my BV8-40 through masterlink with Pentas on the TV and can tell you - no Display
Pentas directly on the ouverture did display source etc.
Switching A/V for the displays doesn't change anything - the BV8 obviously doesn't send data through Powerlink...
I do miss the display, too

The config guide program does indeed mention that no display data is sent to Penta but it does not mention the 4500

The Power Link wires used for the displays are the same - whatever B&O- speaker you connect. They are pins 6&7 on the DIN Plug.
NO display!
