For a variety of reasons, I am thinking about buying a Beomaster 5000  (Type 2322, from the 80's).  What size headphone socket does it have - the 1/4" or the more recent 3.5mm?   I know the 5500, 6500 and 7000 have the 3.5 but I'm not sure about the 5000.   I have trawled Beoworld and Beocentral, but can't find any reference to the actual socket size.

It has the once traditional 6.35 mm jack socket, but you have to flip the front panel down, because it is concealed behind it!

Added link to Tim's article - you had to read the BM5500 description!
