Hi - our beovision 3 broke down. But we just got another. But the "new"  one does not have the surround facillity. So - having 4 penta speakers - I would like to move the surround module from the old beovision 3 to the "new" one that works.

But I don`t have any instructions or manual. Can I just take out the module and move it ??

Can anyone help with an advice/knowledge ?

-thanks !!

The straight answer is probably not. However opening a TV, even an unplugged one, is not a job for the inexperienced. The3 voltages inside are literally lethal and hence, don't do it.  Any small repair shop can do do this for you and will be money well spent!

Hi Peter - thanks for the warning. I took the chance, using isolated screwdrivers and did not touch anywhere with my hands... it worked. And it was quite easy to see how the printboard and the connection should be done. Its working fine now.

But my only problem is that I had connected the old beovison 3 with my 9000 sound system via linkconverter to the masterlink connection in the beovision 3 - it dosent work in the new beovision 3 - i probally will have to do some programming.

And also the old 4 remote control wont work with the "new" beovision 3...

Best regards - Søren (SirOne)
