Any options for Beogram 3000 cartridges?

First post, but I will be back with more soon.

There is a 3000 available near me at a good price. It has no cartridge (or lid but that is less a concern), so I was curious if there are still sources for them.

Or is there any known way to modify the arm to take another cartridge? I know it would have to be very light, so I am thinking of perhaps an Ortofon body such as were in some of the proprietary Dual headshell versions.

The straight answer is no, not in an economic fashion. Which 3000 by the way? A number of 4000 type decks were modified by their owners to take Grado cartridges and this can still be done. I would favour getting one of Axel's specialist cartridges though.

It takes the SP10A but none is included.

I have seen the 4000 mods to take P-mount carts. That is intriguing as well but I have been working on a 4002 lately and luckily I have 2 original cartridges with it.
