Beomaster 3000-2 - line input into the second phono line ?

Hi all

I am looking to hook up an iPod dock to the second phono input of my Beomaster 3000-2 (tape input is already taken!) ...... i have heard that the second phono input can receive a line level signal.......is this correct ? any advice would be greatly appreciated !
