Really nice design the new Z2. Definitively, Bowers & Wilkins understand the economic market and launch better Streaming station like B&O ! Today British are better like Danish ! ;-) http://www.bowers-wilkins.co.uk/Wireless-Music-Systems/Wireless-Music-Systems/Z2/explore.html

I could listen to the BW range last week as I was looking for a replacement for a dead BSound 8 (one speaker doesn't work anymore...).

I was not that impressed by the Z2 but it goes quite loud and has a 'flexible' lightning dock connector which moves with the inclination of the iPhone5. Sound was quite good but I had the feeling that the voices were not that clear. I would compare it to a Bose Soundlink Air. I think that the Z5 is much better and I was even more amazed by the Z7 (800€)! For this price the Z7 is far better sounding then my old BS8 and still much cheaper then a BeoPlay A8. Clear sound, deep basses (but not boomy like Bose), and very natural voices. The sound stage seemed very wide for a relatively small device. The only negative point for me is the design which is a bit poor and the heavy weight (but I guess that this contributes to the sound quality).

I heard and see in real the Z2. Really nice compact station. Materials are quality with steel and soft rubber. The design is superbe. The sound is very good in high and middle frequencies. Of course bass are not impressive but everything sounds clean. It is harmonious. For 399 euros, it is the best soundstation for Ipod, Iphone that I have heard. Shame that BeoPlay don't do a similar product.

I wasn't pleased with any of the airplay/ipod products in the B&W range. I tried a Zeppelin Air for a brief time and just found it muddy and lacking in range, partially due to the close quarters of such a cabinet. But even then, the BeoPlay A8 manages to sound much clearer and more spaced in a similar sized case.

Not agree with you. The Zeppelin Air is the best compact sound station of the market. The BeoPlay A9 is better but the size is bigger and not easy to install in a small room.
